WHO I AM & WHAT I DO HERE:

My name is LEA ALMARAZ. I majored in Art in California, but now reside in Texas. I currently do a brush-free art technique called FLOW ACRYLIC PAINTING, which is abstract in nature, and uses various additives and methods to get the effects you see in my PORTFOLIO & VIDEO. Every painting is original because the variables are very random and not fully controllable. What this means for you, is one-of-a-kind works of art, something special in your eyes, something that appeals to your taste, your own style, and your individual senses.. UNIQUE ABSTRACT FLOW ACRYLIC PAINTINGS ON STRETCHED CANVAS.

MY SHOPPING GALLERY:

If you would like to PURCHASE A PAINTING, or sets or multiple paintings, by all means please go to MY STORE in the SHOPPING GALLERY menu, and shop for whatever will best suit your needs or desires. The majority of them are 16×20 inches. They are in various color palettes to suit any individual preferences, and most are metallic paint, along with some that also have color-shifting elements, and even some that are neon/fluorescent. I tend to use glossy rather than matte finishes. Many are already varnished. Most of the paintings naturally have a rich texture, adding a 3D quality. They are organic in quality, imperfectly perfect. Natural.

These paintings are suitable for business offices, waiting rooms, hospital corridors, libraries, schools, restaurants, or other similar public facilities, and of course for any room of your residence. From the children’s rooms to your hallways to your bedrooms, dining area, bathrooms, or over the sofa, they add to the personal touches of your home. They look wonderful in sets as well, same sized or multiple sized, & may be turned portraiture, tilted, or landscape in direction, as they are abstract and have no set correct positioning other than your own distinctive preferences. They are very simple to coordinate to your color schemes, as each of them is made up of common color combinations which are very flexible, even though many of the colors have been custom mixed. They do not require framing, as the paint colors extend over all sides, but of course framing is an option if you wish to add your own. No hardware is supplied for hanging or framing, but options are extensive via your local hardware stores, etc. I do suggest you consider special lighting for these pieces, to create focal elements & ambience, & to draw attention where you’d prefer it, for successful overall room design enhancement. Don’t see quite what you’re looking for? Perhaps a membership plan would better suit you, as member benefits include both custom ordering & private auction privileges.

YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A MEMBERSHIP HERE in order to purchase a painting from my SHOPPING GALLERY STORE. You also DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN UP/SIGN IN/SUBSCRIBE, to browse through this site or make purchases from the main menu shop. Check out my PORTFOLIOS, (which contain both photos of paintings no longer available/sold, as well as those still in shop), and visit the STORE. In the SHOPPING GALLERY STORE, you may make purchases for whatever you wish, and of course this will require you to fill out your personal profile and credit info. You may also choose to SUBSCRIBE to my website, (free), SO THAT I CAN SEND YOU EMAILS when I have new pieces to offer you, any type of sale or special deals or events, OR a new auction (JUST FOR PAID MEMBERS), etc. The best thing about SUBSCRIBING, is that you can also OPT IN (OR OUT) of seeing notifications on your Facebook page, whenever I update here.

As to those of you who choose to purchase a MEMBERSHIP PLAN for my site, this will entitle you to enter the PRIVATE AUCTION ARENA, for the auction-only paintings, where paid members can BID to their hearts content. My best works will be available there, at minimum base bids, and I hope that you will find it enjoyable and exciting to compete for them. Membership will ALSO allow you the unique opportunity of being able to make CUSTOM PURCHASE ORDERS as to painting size, shape, and color palettes. You will additionally be provided a free login PROFILE PAGE here, where you can keep track of your purchase history as well. Membership would be ideally desirable/convenient for those of you who purchase art pieces more frequently, such as Interior Designers, Real Estate Agents wishing to stage their properties, Hotel/Motel chains who need to dress many rooms, and of course anyone who enjoys giving art as a very personal and wonderful gift on a regular basis.

I have a DONATE BUTTON, and welcome your support. I am dependent upon this income in order to be able to afford to spend the time it takes to do these paintings for you, and it does take time. I am generally only able to do one a day, give or take, & can’t work every day. In addition, they cost me money in advance for all supplies. I also spend a higher rent & utility allowance in order to have a space to use as my studio, and of course I do pay for internet, and for this website to be hosted, etc. Additionally, I also do some charity work for non-profit organizations, such as those who help our local homeless Veterans. I would like to be able to afford to give back to them as they gave for us, in my own small way, to show that I care. I recently (2018) donated paintings to the local Marine Corp folks for their silent bidding fund raiser event, and I hope to plan a special charity fund-raising event for Calvary Steel Ministries in the near future, where we will be holding an art auction at a local gallery, to raise money that will assist the church in doing what it can for our Veterans.
